Available Content Access to the fulltext of available issues of the following journals is provided on an annual subscription basis to academic institutions and libraries. Faculty, staff and students at subscribing institutions do not need a user name or password; IP (Internet Protocol) number range is used to identify authorized users. Temporary access can be provided for individuals evaluating the service for their institution, or for journal editors or publishers wishing to participate. Unrestricted display of the full text of available issues of
a given journal is provided if the institution subscribing to
POIESIS also has a current subscription to that journal and if
the publisher has given the necessary permission. Almost all active
journals permit unrestricted display of their content in this
manner. If the title has restricted display then only paragraphs
containing search results can be displayed and browsing of that
title is limited to the tables
of contents. Titles with restricted display are only included
if they are not available to institutions in electronic format
from any other service. |
